About- Degree + IAS – Duration- 3 years. The centre focus and goal is that the students who are going to take this course of Degree + IAS in Ekalavya IAS Academy should write the Exam immediately, after 3 years of coaching. The grounds behing this is that they do not have batches or different sections. They accomodat only a limited number of students and only one batch with the same classroom, faculty and approach. The Course Schedule is divided as a 70 to 30 ratio. The Civil Services preparation will be given weightage of 70% for all 3 years. Degree preparation will be 30%, for all 3 years. The institute has drafted an approach that divides the syllabus, into the Main Subjects and General Subjects in Civil Services. They complete the subjects along with the degree, allotting appropriate time for both. Entrance Exam - Entrance exam at Ekalavya IAS Academy along with Interview is conducted. Selection – Only if the institute feels the aspirant is serious and committed for UPSC Exam will they be selected into the instituition. Syllabus for Entrance Exam – 1. Current events, mental ability questions, arithmetic reasoning, comprehension. 2. Three to four Descriptive Questions - General Topics.
*A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st August of the year of examination if he is a general category student / aspirant. The upper age limit for IAS as well as all services prescribed above is relaxed for OBC, SC, ST and other categories of aspirants*
