In Engineering, a student needs a good command in mathematics. This mathematical knowledge can be classified into three different subjects. Famously referred to as M-1, M-2, and M-3 where M is mathematics. M1, M2, M3 in engineering stands for Mathematics-1, Mathematics-2, Mathematics-3, respectively. An engineering student is required to study these subjects in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd semester of the course of study. Each of them is dedicated to a special topic in mathematics. For example, Linear Algebra is covered in one, calculus in other and complex variables in the last one.
