ommon Admission Test or CAT is a management aptitude test conducted by the IIMCAT for admission to the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and over 1000 other B-schools across India. The CAT exam is conducted by one of the IIMs on behalf of IIMCAT, in online mode at various test centres in over 156 cities. In 2018, about 2.41 lakh candidates applied for the CAT exam. The number of applications received was the highest since 2010.
