Diploma in English is a full-time Diploma course in the English Language. The duration of this course is 1 year. Candidates who have completed 10+2 (12th examination) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% of marks are eligible to apply. This course is designed to help the candidates to learn different aspects of the English Language. This course aims to develop writing and reading skills and English vocabulary. This study builds a bridge between theory and practice of the methodology of English language. Admission process for this course is based on merit-list or entrance exam followed by an interview. Most of the colleges select students based on the marks obtained in their higher secondary examination. Some reputed colleges conduct entrance exams to select students for admissions.The candidates who are all qualified for this exam can attend the interview. Based on the candidate’s performance of entrance exam, personal interview and marks obtained will be selected for admission to this course.
