CSAT

Popularly known as the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT), the preliminary exam is administered by the Union Public Service Commission for the Civil Services Examination. The CSAT was first introduced in 2011 as the second General Studies exam.

The objective of this exam is to gauge candidates' reasoning abilities. Only objective-type questions are used on this exam. There are no descriptive exam questions.
