In India, the CA Intermediate examination is the second stage of the chartered accountancy course. It consists of eight courses and around 7000 pages of analysis material that has to be completed in the 9 months assigned for study. The group methodology adds to the difficulty of the examination as a result of every group consists of 4 subjects, and a candidate should pass all four papers to pass the group. Failure to pass one topic automatically ends up in the failure of the whole group, implying that the student fails all of the topics he has passed. Eligibility Criteria: Students can register for the CA Intermediate when passing the Common Proficiency test (CPT) or the CA Foundation Course. Graduates, postgraduates, and students with similar degrees also can enroll for the CA Intermediate test without 1st taking the entry level tests.
