A one-year undergraduate programme called the Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) teaches students on managing and running libraries. Usually, the course is broken up into two semesters. The main focus of a bachelor's degree in library and information science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) is the maintenance and preservation of libraries.
The candidates must successfully complete their Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50–55 percent marks in order to qualify for the B.Lib.I.Sc. programme. Additionally, some universities have entrance exams that students must take in order to be eligible for enrollment.
