UTAR's Bachelor of Nursing Programme is approved by the Malaysian Nursing Board and is nationally accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency. This programme aims to equip students with a strong foundation in the principles, theories and practices of modern nursing. This programme provides tertiary education that creates graduates who are strongly knowledge-based with the ability to think critically, perform competently in relevant skills, adapt and innovate to challenges and opportunities in the nursing profession. Upon successful?completion of the programme, graduates are eligible to sit for the Malaysian Nursing Board Examination to be licensed for practice as a Registered Nurse.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants should have completed high school or equivalent
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent
- Applicants should have credits in Mathematics or in any one of biology, chemistry, physics or applied science
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 42 in ibt
- IELTS: minimum 5.0
