International Student Admissions

United International Business School, Netherlands accepts international applicants, given that they have completed secondary education with a college preparatory curriculum, fulfilled the minimum grade point equivalency, provided required official records, met the appropriate deadlines, and verified financial support for one academic year.

The admission process is similar for both international and domestic applicants. However, international applicants need to meet some additional requirements.

Basic Admission Requirements:

Application Process: The step-wise application process for international applications is as follows:

Send all required application documents to the Admissions Department.
After review and approval, applicants will receive their conditional acceptance documents.
Pay the non-refundable tuition fees to confirm the acceptance.
After confirmation, applicants will receive the official acceptance documents that they would need to apply for a student visa.
Applicants must comply with the student visa guidelines and apply for a student visa with the Spanish Embassy or Consulate closest to you.

English Proficiency Test Scores

All the programs at UIBS are delivered in English language and thus, students attending those must be fluent in English. Students belonging to non-native English speaking countries are required to submit proof of their English language proficiency like TOEFL, IELTS etc. as part of the admission requirements.

In case of average test scores, students in order to enter the study program may enrol themselves for the Advanced English program offered by the school and in case of Inadequate test scores, students will have to attend Intensive English Language program before entering the desired study program.

Visa Process for International Students

International students are required to hold a valid Netherlands Student Visa to be able to study as a full-time student at UIBS. Students must apply a few months in advance for admission keeping in mind the time taken in receiving a valid visa and thus not interrupting your date of beginning the course.

Once you’ve been successfully accepted for admission at the institute i.e. you’ve received the acceptance letter, the student is then required to make a timely deposit of program fees. Students should start the visa process as soon as they receive the acceptance letter.

United International Business School Graduate Admissions

United International Business School provides a wide range of graduate courses in business studies, business administration, international management (as per various countries and types of management), arts degrees in design, fashion, sports, technology, tourism and hospitality, financial, HR, marketing and operations management for international applicants seeking to study in the Netherlands.

FAQs

How will virtual class sessions affect my studies?

A. The teaching method will be somewhat different from the usual group teaching method, but your studies can continue as normal.

Q. How will Covid-19 affect my graduation in June?

A. Students who enroll for courses and consequently earn credits will not be affected by graduating later than initially expected at the start of the program. All courses remain available, but are only temporarily organized differently.

Q. In case I decide to pause my studies in the Spring and have paid fees, will the fee transfer to the Summer of Fall Sessions, or will it be refunded back to me?

A. Fees are due payable according to a fixed payment schedule. Any fees already paid are added to the balance. Only charges are added to the balance related to the actual courses attempted.

Q. How can I get in touch with the admissions department?

A. All our admissions team members remain available by email, phone, Skype and WhatsApp. We currently advise against non-essential personal face-to-face meetings.

Q. Is it possible to pause my studies for the Spring quarter? Are there any fees for pausing my studies?

A. Students may pause their education for 3 months/1 quarter per academic year without the applicable program fees changing to the newest program fee schedule. The program fees for those pausing more than 3 months/1 quarter will change to the newest program fee schedule, which is likely to be higher.

Q. Can I pause only for Spring - Term A and continue in Term B?

A. Graduate students may pause per Term as all courses start and finish in a single Term. Undergraduate students typically could not, but from the Spring Quarter onwards also all Undergraduate courses are scheduled on a 5-week basis, allowing for this option.
