New Zealand is a small market compared to any large market countries like UK or USA. I preferred this university because the course I pursued there is actually relevant to what I wanted to do in my career ahead. The course curriculum didn't have any semester or trimester system. Each and every paper were given sole training continuously and the impact of group discussion was high. The entire learning method is different from what we learn in India. The concept of exams wasn't there for most of the papers I studied at this university.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum revolves around articles and news that happen around the entire world. Compared to textbook learning, you learn with live examples of how to deal in the actual business world.
Exams
The basic requirements of IELTS should be 7 or above 7. I didn't write any other competitive exams.
Placement
There are no placement offers. You have to search for your own career opportunities later on. But the career advisory department of the University will guide you through the complete process in order to approach your employer or prepare you for the job.
Internship
I interned at Mitre 10 at Tauranga, this opted from the University. My profile was business development executive. I also interned at GFK Media as a field analyst.
Events
The campus is amazing, and well equipped with all the amenities required. You can go through the campus information completely through their website.
Fees
My entire tuition fee, inclusive of medical insurance and other fees cost me up to - INR Rs15,55,987. My course duration was 18 months.
Scholarship
No, I didn't receive any scholarship.
Faculty
They are very well-experienced and have a good sense of humor. Faculty-student ratio is 1:50. Michelle was my director, she is an amazing and impressive person. All the professors and faculty members are easy to approach and take any sort of feedback very positively.
Hostel
I didn't stay in any of the university accommodations. I had rented out a 3-bedroom house along with my other friends in the university suburbs where I could easily connect with University and the city.
