Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is all set to hold the CAP TEST through an online interview via Skype for the Department of Mass Communication.
The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will provide admission based on an online Personal Interview (PI) for CAP TEST 2020-21 academic year due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 Pandemic situation. The shortlisted candidates will receive a confirmation mail about their selection for the online interview.
CAP TEST Selection Criteria
Candidates would be selected for CAP TEST based on the following criteria:
- The marks obtained in the qualifying CAP TEST examinations
- An online Personal Interview (PI) round
- CAP TEST counselling round
- Eligibility criteria for the program

The varsity will issue the schedule for the online interview for CAP TEST for the shortlisted candidates. After the online interview rounds are completed, the department will publish a merit list that will include the details such as the eligible candidates for the programme.
After the selection, candidates will participate in the online CAP TEST counselling round. During the counselling they need to submit their documents along with payment of the admission fee to complete the admission procedure.

CAP TEST: Interview Round Details
During the interview round, candidates will be tested based on the following;
- knowledge of the course
- their general awareness
- what they desire to achieve through the course
On successfully qualifying the interview round, candidates will appear for the final CAP TEST counselling session. However, the authority has not yet been informed about the mode of the CAP TEST counselling session.
Candidates will be informed accordingly and need to complete the CAP TEST admission process to secure a seat in the preferred programme.
