AP UG Degree Admission 2020-21: Online Application Begins @oamdc.ap.gov.in; Check Details Here

AP UG Degree Admission 2020-21: Directorate of Higher Education, Andhra Pradesh has begun registration for AP UG (Degree) Admission 2020-21 from January 6, 2021, meanwhile extending the last date to January 21, 2021. Earlier, candidates could apply online for UG courses till January 17.

DHE has begun registration through the new module, Online Admission Module for Degree Courses (OAMDC) for common admission process for all the degree colleges across the state. Interested candidates need to submit applications on this portal for AP UG admission 2020-21. 

Candidates who passed Intermediate (+2) can apply for admission to degree (UG) courses. They can visit the official website Andhra Pradesh State Academic Management System to register for admission to UG courses. However, students who passed ITI are not eligible for admissions through OAMDC.

The admission process will be easy as students can fill the Common Application Form for all the colleges at once. Candidates can apply for any college in their respective district without verifying the number of seats available. The module will receive the applications and upload the status of the application after submission.

As per recent data, Andhra Pradesh has 801 government/ autonomous/ aided degree colleges across the state, adding to fact that every district has over 35 colleges. 

AP UG Degree Admission 2021: How to Apply Online?

Candidates can follow the below steps to apply for Undergraduate courses in the Andhra Pradesh:

Step 1: Visit the official Website oamdc.ap.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the link for Sign in on the homepage

Step 3: Register with a valid email ID and phone number

Step 4: Once the portal accepts your registration, log in the Candidate section 

Step 3: Click on the application form for UG courses and enter the required details

Step 4: Choose 5 preferred colleges in the State and upload the necessary documents and submit the application

Step 5: Once the portal accepts your application, download the document and save it for future use.

Note: After submission of the form, Challan will be generated. Candidates need to pay the Challan of INR 50 via Mee Seva/ ESeva center and get it verified.

AP UG Degree Admission 2021: Selection Process

Below mentioned is the selection process for UG courses in Andhra Pradesh through online module:

• The Department of Higher Education (DHE) will be selecting the candidates on the basis of marks secured in +2 boards examination. 
• After sorting through the marks, the board will release a merit list on the website.
• Candidates will be allotted seats according to the merit list published.
• Shortlisted candidates can confirm their seat by paying the admission fee in the respective college.

The single-window admission portal will be operating the admission process smoothly. The centralised selection for all colleges will give the students an advantage to choose the best colleges among the available colleges mentioned in the list.
