New Delhi: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will interact with around 26,000 students for Pariksha Per Charcha on April 1, 2022 from Odisha at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi in hybrid mode.
Dr. Girish Chandra Dash, Deputy Director, PIB Bhubaneswar at a Press Conference in Bhubaneswar, said that “Nearly 26000 students, 5000 teachers and 1200 Parents from Odisha will be connected in the programme virtually,”.
Creative Writing competition will also take place for the students. According to the records over 15.7 lakh participants have already registered for the competition. About 2050 participants got selected through competitions on MyGov including 56 from Odisha
In the orientation about the creative writing competition Dash also mentioned the selection process of the participants he said, “Students, teachers and parents were selected based on an online creative writing competition on a bouquet of themes. The competition was organized from December 28, 2021, to February 3, 2022, through MyGov platform.”
Further he added that as per records over 15.7 lakh students have participated in the creative writing competition. He also mentioned that, “ About 2050 participants have been selected through competitions on MyGov including 56 from Odisha. They will be presented with a certificate of appreciation and a special Pariksha Pe Charcha kit consisting of the Exam Warriors book, written by the Prime Minister,”.
Pariksha Per Charcha 2022: A Public Movement
Shri Pradhan had stated that PPC is becoming a formal institution through which the Prime Minister engages directly with students, emphasizing the importance of initiatives like PPC in establishing the knowledge-based economy of the twenty-first century.
Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan had earlier advocated for making Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022 a public campaign while speaking at a press conference in New Delhi. The Minister further stated that the programme will connect the Raj Bhawans of all states and UTs online, and that the state governors will award unique kits to selected pupils.
