Artificial Intelligence Course to be introduced in MP Government Schools: CM Chouhan

New Delhi: The Madhya Pradesh Government is to start a new course in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for students from class 8. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced the news of this one of its first kind initiative on Sunday, March 27, 2022.

In addition to the AI courses, the MP Government also made several announcements regarding the cabinet. The press conference was conducted at Pachmarhi, MP. This two-day session ended on Sunday, March 27, 2022.

MP Government Cabinet: Announcement Highlights

During the cabinet, many announcements were made by the Chief Minister. Here are a few highlights of those announcements:

  • The Government is also set to launch a veterinary telemedicine facility so that the livestock keepers can seek advice on phone regarding any disease of the domestic animals.
  • Similarly, a facility will also be launched for the farmers for seeking advice from the specialists, regarding any agricultural issue such as harvesting problems, diseases of crops and so on
  • For the first time in the country, students will be introduced to AI in Class 8. The course duration will be 240 hours

MP Education Minister Announces to Establish Digital, Skill University in MP

  • MP will also become the first state in India to provide MBBS in Hindi language. This is to help the students coming from the non-English medium backgrounds
  • There are schools which are being developed at different areas in MP under the budget for building construction is 24 crore
  • There will be a renewed CM Tirth Darshan Yojana i.e. a free pilgrimage scheme for senior citizens. The initiative was inoperative during the COVID pandemic and will be relaunched in the next month. The first train is set to leave for Varanasi on April 18, 2022. The state cabinet ministers will also travel in this train. Arrangements of air travel for the senior citizens to distant pilgrimages were also discussed
  • There will be establishment of Sanjivani clinics in urban areas as well. There will be one clinic to accommodate 25,000 people. This is to reduce the overwhelming burden of the larger hospitals on a regular basis. The facility will start from April 22, 2022, in some areas.

  • The CM further explained that the earlier financial assistance amount for the Kanyadan Scheme (for marriage of girls belonging to economically weaker backgrounds) has also been increased to INR 55,000/. On May 2, 2022, a renewed “Ladli Laxmi Yojana” will be launched as well
  • The fair price shops will also be turned into multipurpose shops where items other than ration will be available
