New Delhi: Assam Energy Institute is currently accepting applications for its Diploma for Industry Professionals (DIP) programme for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, rgipt.ac.in. The last to apply is June 30, 2022.

Assam Energy Institute offers two years Diploma for Industry Professionals (DIP) programme in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering. To be eligible for admission candidates need to have an ITI certificate in the relevant domain along with a minimum of two years of work experience. 

Candidates need to apply for the DIP programme of Assam Energy Institute through the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology official portal as AEI is an established extended centre of RGIPT.

• A candidate who is sponsored by industry is eligible for admission to the DIP program, provided that the applicant meets the following educational qualification laid down for the programme.
• The candidate must have been employed and possess a relevant I.T.I certificate (Fitter/Machinist/Turner/ Maintenance Mechanic Chemical Plant/ Pump Operator Cum Mechanic/ Instrument Mech/ Plastic Processing Sector/ Fabrication/ Laboratory Assistant- Chemical Plant)
• Candidate must have been in service of the sponsoring industry for at least two years at the time of admission. The sponsoring industry should be engaged in the broad area of the DIP program applied.

• To get admission to the Assam Energy Institute DIP programme candidates need to apply through the official portal of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, at rgipt.ac.in.
• Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Name, Mobile Number, Email Id etc.
• Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
• Pay the application fee of INR 1000 and submit the Application form. 
• Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
