Assam HSLC Paper Leak

New Delhi: Board of Secondary Education (SEBA), Assam, has postponed the Assam Class 10th exam scheduled for March 18, 2023. The exam will now be held on April 1, 2023.

The decision to postpone the Assam HSLC MIL and English (IL) exams was made after the detained suspect admitted confessed that he leaked the Assamese paper as well.

"SEBA has rescheduled the exam of all MIL/English (IL) subjects on April 1, 2023. Earlier, it was scheduled to be held on 18 March, 2023," Tweeted Assam Education minister, Ranoj Pegu. 

The decision to postpone the exam was taken by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma. 

"It has been brought to my notice that the arrested accused center in-charge of Luhit Khabalu HS School has, during interrogation, confessed of leaking Assamese paper as well. In view of this, I have advised SEBA to reschedule the Assamese exam also," tweeted Sarma.

SEBA had earlier decided to cancel the general science exam aswell. The board released a notification on Monday saying that March 30, 2023 was the revised date for the exam. The Assam board matric general science exam was earlier scheduled to be held on March 18, 2023.
