New Delhi: AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) has released the counselling schedule and seat matrix for the special stray vacancy round for AYUSH UG courses. Eligible candidates can submit the applications through the official portal, i.e. aaccc.gov.in.

Earlier, AYUSH authority conducted a stray vacancy admission round for the UG courses. At the end of the admission round, 194 seats remained vacant in Central universities/ National Institutes/ Government Colleges/ Government aided colleges. To not waste the seats, AACCC has decided to conduct another Stray Vacancy Admission round for those remaining seats. Eligible candidates seeking admission to the programmes can submit their applications along with security deposit from May 6 to 8, 2021 within 6 p.m.
As per the official notice, all the NEET UG eligible candidates who are already registered with AACCC UG Counselling 2021, can apply for those 194 vacant seats in the BAMS/ BSMS/ BUMS/ BHMS courses.

AYUSH Special Stray Vacancy Admission 2021: Eligibility Criteria
AACCC has prescribed certain criteria for applicants interested in seeking admission to the earlier mentioned UG courses. Those are the following:
- Aspiring candidates must have previously registered on AACCC UG portal and must not have occupied any UG (BAMS/ BSMS/ BUMS/ BHMS) seat in the previous round of AACCC-UG Counselling, 2021
- Candidates who are registered with AACCC-UG portal but are not occupying any seat in the State/ UT/ Institutional Counselling round
Candidates who are Not-Eligible to seek admission are the following:
- Candidates who have been already allotted and occupy a seat in AACCC-UG/ State/ UT/ Institutional Counselling round
- Candidate who has been allotted a seat in Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy round conducted by AACCC
AYUSH Special Stray Vacancy Admission 2021: Rules and Regulations
The authority has prescribed certain rules and regulations regarding the admission to the remaining 194 seats. The rules are as mentioned below:
- No fresh registration will take place in the Special Stray Vacancy Round
- All the eligible and willing candidates of AACCC-UG Counselling, 2021, will have to fill in Fresh Choices for the Special Stray Vacancy Round
- All the registered candidates will have to pay a refundable Security Deposit for participation in the admission
AYUSH Special Stray Vacancy Admission 2021: Steps to Apply
Interested and willing candidates must take note of the following steps to apply successfully:
Step 1- Visit the official website of AYUSH
Step 2- Logging into the portal
Step 3- Fill in the Fresh Choices for the Special Stray Vacancy Round
Step 4- Pay the Security Deposit (INR 10,000) online
Step 5- Participating candidates will be required to furnish an undertaking related to the allotment of seats at the time of Choice Filling on AACCC-UG counselling portal. The undertaking is as followers:
“I agree to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of AACCC-UG Counselling, 2021.
I affirm that I am not holding any allotted UG seat in the previous rounds of AACCC-UG Counselling/State/UT/Institutional counseling, 2021 and I understand that these seats are precious in nature. Hence, if I get allotted a seat during the Special Stray Vacancy Round, I will join the allotted seat. If, due to any reason I do not join the allotted seat my security deposit of 20,000/- (10,000/- security money deposited during registration on AACCC-UG portal + 10,000/- deposited during Special Stray Vacancy Round of AACCC-UG counseling) will be forfeited and any action including legal action may be taken by the Competent Authority.”
