What can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

“Learning that extends beyond academics”

In our college along with regular academics, we have in house programmes like NSS, NCC and IGNOU Centre for overall personality development. One can learn much more beyond the syllabus. Students can nurture their talent via skill development activities, they can develop leadership qualities, organizational skills, literary skills & much more.

Any insights into how your College could be more welcoming to students of different backgrounds?

“An open & diverse campus with great faculty to help students in language & academic issues”

We have been welcoming several students from various countries like Korea, Maldives, Afghanistan, etc. We help them adjust in this environment by training them to communicate in English. Extra efforts are taken by concerned faculty to solve their subject difficulties. They are motivated to participate in extracurricular activities on and off stage.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the University and the students are?

“Maintaining balance & equilibrium in academics, administration, management & college campus”

Being the Vice Principal, Head of the Department, PIO and a core teacher, the responsibilities differ a lot. As a Vice Principal I need to be a connecting link between the administrative staff, fellow teaching faculty, students and parents. As a PIO the role is to present the right information in the most accurate manner to the applicant. And as a teacher, it's my job to seek and impart the latest knowledge in my field to the pupils.

What do you think should be the College’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Designing & structuring the syllabus according to modern education policies”

With the incoming NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY in sight there seems to be a great change in the overall education landscape. The NEP is sure to help the students in the long run. However the sudden change in the method of imparting knowledge has been a real challenge to many and I hope to see more emphasis given in pairing Technology with the Quality of Education in the coming days.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Hardwork and continuous dedication is what helps you achieve excellence in life”

Keep up an earnest thirst to learn new things. With hard work and dedication nothing will keep you away from achieving your goals.
