What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“An innate desire to create opportunities, change lives and impact futures”

Our education journey started in 2002, we were one of the first colleges in all of UP that started the teaching courses. The first ever merit which was published by the state included our name, in which 5 out of the top 10 toppers were from our college. The society aims at the formation of Character, the first essential of any sound educational system. The aim of inculcation of practical knowledge is based on the use of the latest teaching techniques. The Institution offers educational programs in Educational training, management, Information technology, Commerce, etc.

Any insights into how your university could be more welcoming and inclusive?

“Our students come from a variety of states and racial backgrounds”

There are students from areas like J&K and various cities from UP and Bihar as well. But, we would like to have students from more diverse backgrounds and all parts of the country. There has also been an increase in the number of girl students in our college. Girls are taking part in all extra-curricular activities, sports activities and are exceeding in almost all the university exams.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth?

“Focus on achieving education that will transform your life immensely”

As Swami Vivekananda said, “Truth can be stated in a thousand different ways, yet each one can be true.” Your education here, in this college and outside it, will help you find that truth. The true hallmark of that education would be one by which character is formed, the strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by standing on one’s own feet. Hence, seek out that education, discover that truth and remember to use it well.

What would you like people to know about your university they may not know?

“We wish to provide our students with a holistic learning experience for life”

We aim to teach students to learn, not just study. Hence, we strive to travel beyond the boundaries of books. We have realized that the future is abstract and unknown but the youth in our hands are real and can be moulded. We hope that the years that students spend in Astron College, would enable them to get equipped with leadership and managerial skills.
