Shoolini University, a Himachal-based private university is back with a fresh edition of Moksh 2019. The excitement for the event started building up a month before the event. The much-awaited annual event, showcased varied talent among the students. The three-day gala event was full of fun, contests, events, displays and star performances.
Moksh 2k19 - The glorious extravaganza
The decision to also hold the popular Flower Fest on the last day of Moksh added to the charm and colour on the campus. The Flower Fest, which draws flower lovers from Solan and Shimla, was delayed this year due to the extended spell of winter which had led to late blooming of flowers. Students, backed by faculty members and other staff, had put in their best foot forward to make the event a grand success.
As part of preparations for Moksh 2K19, students organised flash mobs within and outside the campus. Many colourful banners and posters were designed and displayed within the campus and outside. Several committees were formed under the overall charge and direction of Dean Students Welfare Mrs. Poonam Nanda.

Moksh 2k19: Opening Day
On the opening day on March 29, the famous Pahadi singer and performer Vicky Chauhan mesmerised the audience with his singing. RJ Shalini from Shimla hit the stage and kept the audience spellbound.
Star Performer - Jassi Gill
The star attraction of the event was. the top Punjabi singer Jassi Gill, who regaled an enthusiastic audience with his hit numbers like Nikle Currant Tere Yaar Taun (which has recorded 450 million hits) and Sada Bapu Jimidar.
He also sang Himachali songs which were welcomed by loud applause from the audience. He was accompanied by upcoming singer Bubble Rai who also belted out several numbers.
The performances from the singers marked the finale of the three-day event which included events - selection of Mr and Ms Shoolini, body building competition, arts and crafts exhibition, singing and dancing competitions, fashion show and competition among music bands.
Vishakha Thakur, a second semester student of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, was crowned Ms Shoolini while Aishwary Raj Kapoor, a student of B.Tech (Mechanical) won the title of Mr Shoolini.
