The Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kottayam, has recently released the MGU Result 2021 on its official MGU website: mgu.ac.in, for M.Sc, BHM, LLB, B.Com, BA courses. MGU Result 2021 have been released in the month of July 2021, in pdf format, which can be easily downloaded. 

Candidates who had appeared for the MGU Exams 2021 can visit the official website of MGU and check/download the degree results by entering their PRN or user ID along with a password. As per the notice by MGU Kottayam, if students find any discrepancy in the MGU Result 2021, then they can immediately contact the exam conducting authorities of the university for rectification purposes. 

Besides, the candidates who aren't satisfied with their MGU Result 2021, can apply for the revaluation/ rechecking of the MGU answer scripts, for which the students need to fill an application form, pay a deposit, and submit the MGU revaluation form at the office of the exam controller.

How to Check MGU Result 2022?

The academic year at MGU is divided into two semesters where the University conducts examinations for each semester. The results and notifications for the same are updated on the official website.

Candidates must follow the given steps to check the results online:

  • Visit the official website of MGU @mgu.ac.in
  • Check on the ‘Exam Result’ link provided under the ‘Examinations’ tab
  • Select the relevant course.
  • The results can be viewed either PRN-wise or through a downloadable pdf.
  • Enter details including exam name, hall ticket number/roll number and click on ‘Get Result’
  • Download the result.

MGU Result 2022: Revaluation Process

Once the results are published on the official website, those students who are not satisfied with the results can opt for revaluation or review within 15 days of the result declaration. Candidates can submit the application for revaluation in the prescribed format by depositing the fees as per the notification before the due date. Relevant documents need to be attached along with the application.

 The results for the same will be published on the official website of the university under the “Examination” tab.

MGU Supplementary Exam 2022

Those candidates who failed in the regular semester exams can apply for the supplementary exams. The application form for the same will be made available on the official website. Students are required to download the exam schedule from the website once it is published. Prior to the exam schedule, one can download the hall ticket. Exam results for the supplementary exams will also be published on the website along with regular exams.

FAQs

Ques. Does MGU charge any fee for course work examination revaluation?

Ans. Yes, MGU charges INR 2100 for the course work examination revaluation from P.hD or M.Phil students. Students also need to submit the revaluation form for the acceptance of application.

Ques. How is MGU result released for its semester programs?

Ans. MGU results are released for the odd semester exams in the month of January every year while the result of the Even Semester examination is announced in the months of July-August.

Ques. Does MGU charge any fee for Supplementary or improvement paper?

Ans. Yes, MGU charges INR 420 per paper for any supplementary or improvement paper. Students are to pay the fees within a stipulated time to the registrar office.

Ques. What is the maximum marks for MGU Internal assessment under open courses?

Ans. MGU conducts internal assessment under open courses for 20 marks. Internal assessments are examined by the in-house faculties and these marks are added in the total marks for the semester exam.

Ques. Is it mandatory to attend the contact classes for appearing for MGU internal assessments?

Ans. Yes, MGU has allotted a certain number of contact classes per hour for all the courses, where it is mandatory for a student to attend the classes for both internal assessment and external assessment.

Ans. MGU Timetable for annual examination is released department-wise on the official website 1 month prior to the schedule. Students can easily download and check the timetable for their classes according to their respective course.

Ans. Yes, MGU conducts MCQ type questions for private registered students and subjective type questions for general students. These questions are meant for the both internal assessment and external assessment.
