Cheran’s College of Pharmacy was established in the year of 1994 in the Telungupalayam Pirivu area, Coimbatore district. The Cheran's College of Pharmacy focuses on providing a high quality of education to every student, whether they belong to a rural or urban area. The college is approved and affiliated with the Pharmacy Council of India (New Delhi), the Government of Tamil Nadu, and The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University (Chennai). The Institute has good facilities and is well-equipped with modern classrooms, a library, and all kinds of the instruments prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India. The faculty at the college are highly experienced and well qualified in the field of Pharmacy. They provide proper guidance to the students through their experience in the Pharmaceutical Field. The college offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the field of Pharmacy. The courses of the college include B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology), Pharm D, and Pharm D (Post-baccalaureate) courses.

Currently, it has an MoU with Kongunadu Hospital in Coimbatore which is incredibly useful to its students for their internship. Interactive learning

To compete with the current educational scenario, the college has proactively started using a Learning Management System (LMS) called CAMU software. This provides interactive and interesting content to ensure that the students are engaged at all times. The college conducts several Webinars and Alumni Talks to encourage interactive learning among the students. Technological Events like Boot Camps are also organized to teach practical concepts to the students in the Pharmacy field.
