We only offer BA courses in humanity. As there are so many people very interested in civil services, we planned to offer a BA course only to the students.

“We do have 400+ seats for enrollment”
The intake capacity is 400+, last year we received 300 admissions for the BA program. On average, we generally receive a 70% rate of admission every year.

“We do offer fellowship to every eligible student’s irrespective of his/her background”

What are the facilities available for the students?
“We do have a very good infrastructure and educative environment”
Everything is here, whatever be the student’s needs for an educational environment where they do not learn but grow personally and professionally. We do have a very big library, the Sports ground. We do assign a wide variety of projects to work tour students in every semester. We do have a bus facility to pick and drop students so that they can properly focus on their studies instead of wasting their time arranging transport facilities for them.
What extracurricular activities are organized in college to enhance the skills of the students?
“We do organize various cultural events and professional visits for students”
We do organize many extracurricular activities like Cultural events, Educational tours, National Cadet Corps, NSS work and industry-based training. NSS (National Service Scheme) camps are being conducted every year to inculcate the feeling of dignity of labor and to implant the consciousness of social services to the young minds, where the student’s participation is mandatory.
What new programs are you planning to offer to students?
“We are planning to introduce Bachelor of Arts (LLB) and Bachelor of education”
We are planning to introduce BA (LLB) and B.Ed. education but for that, we need to take permission through the director of higher technical education and then we will take affiliation through the university. If they allow us to add these courses, we will definitely do that.
What are your strategies for marketing your institute to reach the maximum students?
“Our approaches are always aligned with the need of the civil services aspirants”
We do not have any specific marketing here; most of the students are interested in Civil services here. So planning is also done accordingly. Furthermore, a few basic orientation courses as per the need of the time are organized annually. The College Community is also contemplating introducing courses for Civil Service Examination, Spoken English, etc. for the people inhabiting the Pasighat Township.
What makes your college unique that people should explore about it?
“We do admit worst to worst students and turn them into shining stars”
My college is the place where students who could not qualify in other colleges, those types of students also join us. In Arunachal Pradesh, there are only 18 government colleges where the fee is only INR 1800. If a student fails in 1st semester they are not allowed to take admissions in any other Gov. College, such students come here.
