Outlook on the Education Industry
I took the helm as a director of Rizvi Education Society in my early 30’s. As an educator, I found many positives and several challenges. The good part about the industry is that one is directly connected to youngsters and the fact, you can mold them the way you want.
I have had the privilege to head 29 educational and professional institutions under the Rizvi banner. Till date, I have been able to make many positive changes in the field of education by introducing innovative practices through digitalization and international collaborations. So, my overall experience has been extremely positive in this field.
Adv. Rizvi’s Philosophy and Style of Leadership
My leadership philosophy is that one must aim to be perfect in whatever one decides to accomplish and lead the team through example. My leadership style is more of a visionary kind, who thinks about the future or advancements creatively and imaginatively. I am a person who is ahead of time and who has an excellent plan for change in the future.

Challenges faced as the Director of Rizvi Education Society
As a Director, my biggest challenge was to change the conservative and traditional approach to a more flexible, digital, and global approach of all the institutes working under the Rizvi banner. Breaking the monotonous teaching patterns was again a challenge. However, I received overwhelming support from all corners for the same as my teachers believed in what I believed.
Growth and placement opportunities available at RES
We have been working on war footing to create excellent placement opportunities across all institutes of Rizvi Colleges. I can confidently boast of 90 percent placements for students who graduates from Rizvi Colleges. The placement cell is upgraded and adheres to global practices of training our students, and so our students get absorbed in the industry very quickly and can sustain intense competition.
Creating positive influence on the society
Education and Law, both are very close to my heart, and I am passionate about being an educationist and also a forensic expert and lawyer. Both industries are quite different from each other but function on the premises of ethics and moral duty, and hence, I enjoy both fields equally. I also feel happy that I am in a position where I can create a positive influence on society and represent women on various platforms.
Technology’s role in nurturing the education industry
Technology has made things more accessible, more exciting, and helps learners to learn at their own pace and place. Thus, it has had a positive influence on the education industry. I see teachers today using Computer Assisted technology for making lessons more creative and exciting. Technology is also a great way to bring literacy to the most remote pockets of the world and hence should be promoted very positively.

I manage my time between my professional front and personal life through planning, and I also dedicate a lot of my time to travel as I believe that travel teaches you what books cannot.
Goals for the next five years
I have accomplished many of my goals for Rizvi Education society in my last three years as a Director. From now on, I want to concentrate on bringing international and global standards of teaching and assessments to Rizvi institutes. I also intend to create a sense towards community service by teachers and students and promote the same through my non-commercial entity titled ‘Help Yourself Foundation’.
Suggestions for the youth and aspiring students
I want to advise the current generation to believe in themselves and stay away from vices, such as smoking and drinking. They should be responsible citizens and act responsibly in public. Students should not take only grades as the mark of one’s success but
