The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline to upload the class IX and class XI students' registration data for the academic year 2021-22.
The CBSE Board extended the deadline to upload the students' registration data when some schools and parents notified the board the problems they faced while completing the registration process due to the prevailing conditions.
However, the students of classes IX and XI who have not yet uploaded their data for the academic session 2021-22 can do it at the earliest till January 6, 2022, by paying the normal fees. While they can upload the registration data along with the late fee till January 7 to 14, 2022.
The Board has notified that other terms and conditions regarding the uploading of students' registration data will remain unchanged. The CBSE has directed all the Schools to complete the registration process now within the revised schedule.

CBSE Class IX & XI Session 2022: How to Register?
Go through the step-by-step process to register the students data of CBSE Class 9 and 11 for the academic year 2021-22.
Step 1: Visit the official site of CBSE on cbse.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on Class 9, 11 session available on the home page and enter the number of sections and number of students.
Step 3: Update the details like Principal Name, Phone number and others and enter the details asked in the excel file and click on upload excel file option.
Step 4: Finalise the data and make the fee payment and once it is done, take a printout of the final list of registered students.
It should be noted that after the generation of the final list, no more additions, deletions, or corrections can be made to this data.
CBSE Class IX & XI Session 2022: Uploading Students' Data & Fee Payment
According to the CBSE notification, if students’ details are entered and finalized on or before January 2, 2022, the school can pay the fee till January 6, 2022 without late fee. Thereafter late fee shall be applicable. If the data is finalized on January 3, the school can pay the fee till January 7, 2022 without a late fee. Thereafter late fee shall be applicable.
It also notifies that If students' details are entered and finalized on January 4, 2022, the school can pay the fee till January 8, 2022 without late fee. Thereafter late fee shall be applicable. If the same is entered and finalized on January 5, the school can pay the fee till January 9, 2022 without late fee. Thereafter late fee shall be applicable.
Similarly, if students' details are entered and finalized on January 6, 2022, the school can pay the fee till January 10, 2022 without late fee. Thereafter late fee shall be applicable.
It may be noted that if the students' registration data is not finalized by January 6, late fee will be applicable. The time window lf +4 days is only available for depositing fee after the finalization of the data. The finalization of data is an activity subsequent to entry/upload of students’ registration data
