New Delhi: Central University of Odisha (CUO) has recently joined the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for the admission session 2022-23. With this, the university will offer admission to its UG, PG programs based on CUET scores.
Candidates who are preparing to apply for admission in various undergraduate level courses at the Central University of Odisha are now directed to apply for CUET 2022 examination on the NTA's website at nta.ac.in. The last date to apply is now extended till May 22, 2022.
Central University of Odisha had organised a Press Conference for joining CUET, on May 4, 2022. The details were announced through the university’s Twitter handle, which reads as follows:

The detailed directions, examination mode, selection criteria, and examination scheme for CUET UG 2022 and CUET PG 2022 will be released on NTA's official website as well as on the website of the Central University of Odisha at cuo.ac.in.
In addition, the Central University of Odisha has recently established its Admission Cell to offer admission support to students. For any queries related to Central University of Odisha Admission 2022, candidates can contact the helpline number at 9668887305/8144744270 and admission2022@cuo.ac.in.
Talking about the initiative of CUO, Professor Sharat Kumar Palita, Vice-Chancellor (I/c), Central University of Odisha stated that the admission process will offer a fair chance to students of Odisha and other states who wish to apply for the admission process.
Informing about the admission process, Ram Shankar, nodal officer, CUET and Admissions 2022, CUO said, “This year, CUO will offer only one program, a five-year integrated mathematics, to the students who come through CUET (UG)-2022"
“For CUO PG Programs, the university will accept CUET PG 2022 entrance exam scores for admission to its 12 postgraduate programs and one B.Ed program" he further added.
As of now, it is not mandatory to apply for CUET PG 2022 for the postgraduate program admission process in central universities. However, the Central University of Odisha has decided to go with CUET PG for the session of 2022. More details regarding the admission criteria for CUO PG Programs will be released soon on the university website.
Following the CUET dates, the Common University Entrance Test will be conducted by NTA at 28 exam centers across Odisha state. The exam will be held in the month of July 2022 through computer-based mode (CBT).
For Admission 2022, over 45 central universities across the country will accept CUET 2022 scores. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply for CUET Registrations on NTA's website till May 22, 2022.
Meanwhile, NTA has released CUET 2022 UG Mock Test (Sample Papers) for a few domain and language subjects on their website nta.ac.in. The question papers include MCQs with the newly introduced changes; hence aspirants can practice them to prepare well for the exams.
