CIP Ranchi Admission 2021: MPhil, PhD Registration to Close on Dec 28; Apply Now

Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi is inviting applications for M.Phil/PhD in Clinical Psychology and MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work for the academic year 2021-22.

Candidates seeking admission in CIP Ranchi can register online on the official website: cipranchi.nic.in. The last date for registration is December 28, 2020.

An application fee of INR 400 (General/OBC/EWS candidates) or INR 300 (SC/ST candidates) have to be paid online at the time of registration. Admission will be based on entrance test, interview or practical exams conducted by the institute.

CIP Ranchi Admission 2020: Important Dates

CIP Ranchi M.Phil/PhD (Clinical Psychology): Eligibility

• For M.Phil: Completed MA / M.Sc. in Psychology degree from a recognized university on or before 15th May, 2020.
• For PhD: Candidates should have a certificate of passing M Phil from a recognized university by 15th May, 2020.

CIP Ranchi M.Phil/PhD (Clinical Psychology): Selection Criteria

• M.Phil: Based on marks scored in an exam conducted by the institute. 
• PhD (Clinical Psychology): 
  • Candidates must qualify the entrance exam of 60 minutes duration that includes 100 MCQ type questions. 
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and practical. 
  • Admission will be based on total marks obtained in entrance test, interview, and practical.

Note: Selected candidates will get a scholarship of INR 25,000 per month.
