CSAB 2021: Special Round Registration starts from November 28 for NITs, IIEST Shibpur, IIITs, GFTIs at csab.nic

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has decided to start the CSAB 2021 special round registration for NIT+ system from November 28, 2021.

According to the CSAB 2021 updates, the candidates will be able to register for the CSAB 2021 special round registration, payment of participation/processing fee and choice filling from November 28 to 30.

Candidates seeking B.Tech admission into the top NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs (except IITs) can register for CSAB 2021 @csab.nic.in till November 30, 2021.

JoSAA NIT+ Admissions 2021 will commence post the completion of all the rounds of JoSAA counselling 2021. Based on the vacancies/seats left, candidates will be able to participate in these special rounds and get admissions to the B.Tech programmes.

Seat acceptance fee payment /document upload / response by candidate to query	December 7 to 9, 2021
Report at the allotted institute for all candidates of CSAB special round I & II who have confirmed their seats	December 7 to 13, 2021

According to the CSAB 2021 statement, this year, the PwD candidates will be permitted a longer time along with the option of choosing their choice of institute where they'd want to report for physical verification of their PwD status. However, they've to register on the CSAB 2021 website, before visiting the institute for verification.

CSAB 2021 special round for NIT+ System: How to Register?

Interested candidates can register for the CSAB 2021 special round for NIT+ System, by following the steps below.

Step 1: Visit the CSAB 2021 official website @csab.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “Online registration and choice filling” link available.

Step 3: It will redirect you to the login page. Enter your JEE Main 2021 application number and password.

Step 4: Upon successful login, you need to complete the registration and choice filling process.

Candidates should note that the special vacant seats filling rounds will now be called as special rounds, which will be conducted only for NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs (except IITs) after completion of all the JoSAA rounds.

Earlier on November 18, the JoSAA 2021 round 6 seat allotment was announced on its website @josaa.nic.in. This year, the conducting body is conducting a total of 6 JosAA 2021 rounds.
