Delhi University Academic Calendar 2022-23 Released; Odd Semester Classes From July 20

New Delhi: Delhi University (DU) has finally released the academic calendar for the academic session 2022-23 on its official website @du.ac.in. The odd semester academics is scheduled to commence from July 20, 2022.

The academic calendar shared by DU consists of the key academic events and activities specifically planned for students who are in their fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth semesters. While the classes for odd semesters will begin from July 20, the even semester will commence from January 2, 2023.

According to the DU notification, the theory exams for the students in the fifth and seventh semesters of the UG and PG Courses will start from November 30 and the exam preparation leave will begin from November 16. 

However, the examination for the students in the sixth and seventh semesters is scheduled to commence from May 11, 2023.

The university notified that the winter break will begin from December 17 and end on December 31, while the summer break will be from May 27, 2023 to July 19, 2023. 

After remaining shut for almost two-consecutive years, the university reopened its campus for in-person classes on February 17, 2022. 

DU Academic Calendar 2022-23: Important Exam Dates 

The university was shut down in March 2020 due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. Although the in-person practical sessions for third-year students had resumed last year, the university was shut again due to the spike in the number of Covid cases in December.

DU 2nd phase Internal Exam Registration Begins

With the release of the DU Academic Calendar 2022-23, the exam conducting authority is also expected to begin the registration process for 2nd phase internal exams from June 29, 2022.

The university is conducting the 2nd Phase of Internal Exams for students who were unable to appear for the regular exams held in May-June. 

Meanwhile, the students can register for the 2nd phase of internal exams from today on the official website--du.ac.in. Further, the university has extended the registration deadline for admission to PG and PhD Courses till June 30, 2022.
