New Delhi: Delhi University has announced the second phase of the internal exam for those students who could not appear for semester examinations in May-June 2022. The registration process for undergraduate and postgraduate internal exams will start on June 29, 2022.
Informing about the decision, Delhi University officials stated that this initiative has been taken so that students of the university who failed to appear for the examination due to the Covid-19 pandemic or any other reason will have another opportunity to appear for examination.
As per the official notice, "DU has decided to conduct the second phase examinations for IV/VI/VIII semester for all undergraduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) programs including students of School of Open Learning (SOL) for "leftover students'".
“The examination will only be held for those who could not write examinations which were held in May/June 2022 due to Covid-19 Pandemic and other reasons” the notice further added.
Students who wish to appear for 2nd phase internal examination for Delhi University Courses are required to submit their online applications on the official university website at du.ac.in. Applicants submitted after June 29, 2022, will not be considered by the exam authority.
DS Rawat, Dean of DU Examinations said, "the attendance was around 97 percent during the semester examination. Only a few students haven't given the examination due to various reasons. The working Group of the Examinations has decided to conduct the second phase of Examinations".
Delhi University has conducted its internal examination for UG and PG courses through physical mode in May-June. It was the first time in two years for the university to conduct its examination in offline mode after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The university will release a separate exam notice for DU School of Open Learning (SOL). Students can be advised to keep a tab on the university website for the latest exam updates.
