New Delhi: Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh formed a committee of six members to recognise “unused space” at faculties, departments and centres of Delhi University. The committee is named the Space Audit Committee.
At Delhi University, Prakash Singh, director of the South Delhi campus will head the Space Audit Committee. He will identify spaces that have been lying vacant for the last three years and frame a policy for their allocation.
According to the notification issued by the Joint Registrar (Estate) on Friday, it says, “Chancellor has constituted a Space Audit Committee to identity unused space in the Faculties, Departments and Centres of the University, which is not been used from last three years be treated as unused space and frame a policy for allocation of space.”
