New Delhi: On Friday, Delhi University extended the deadline for migration across colleges for the academic year 2022–2023 to November 10. However, there is a restriction that only semester 3 will permit migration.

Delhi university has made it clear that relocation would only be permitted "in accordance with the conditions of Ordinance-4 of the Ordinances of the University" once the results of semesters 1 and 2 were announced.
The University also released the seat matrix for the third round of the CSAS at the same time. For new students, Delhi University's 2022–23 academic year started on November 2. The Delhi University colleges gave the first years a regal and heartfelt welcome.
The first semester of this academic year, which began on November 2, will end on March 19 and the second semester, which will start on March 20, will expire in July. There won't be a break between the first two semesters because the academic year will start later than expected. A two-day break will be taken later to transition from the second to the third semester. To synchronise the university's academic year with the pre-pandemic years, when it used to start in July or August, this is being done.
