Why CUCET?

The proposal of NEP 2020 suggested a common entrance test for higher education, which will assist in scrapping the current domination of marks amongst the students.

With the implementation of CUCET, there'll be no stream selection, but there'll be a multi-disciplinary setup where the students will get the option to select a foreign language.

Students will have a different knowledge of various subjects. For instance, if one intends to pursue Mathematics honours can have the option to study history as a subject, which is the important suggestion of NEP known as multi-disciplinary.
