After the Bar Council of India (BCI) accepted the recommendation for the High-Level committee for DU OBE 2021, over 600 law students have written a letter to the Dean of Delhi University requesting modifications in the DU OBE 2021. The BCI has left it to the respective universities to look at the matter of conducting exams of the final year students after assessing the COVID-19 situation.

The Delhi University students have appealed that due to the current scenario, the majority of the students are facing aCOVID crisis, and thus conducting a time-bound exam will affect all these students. The students have appealed that rather than a time-bound exam DU must give a month's time to submit the answer sheets in a take-home exam format.
Final Year Exams are scheduled to be conducted from June 16, while the pending exams for other semesters are scheduled to be conducted in July-August. The students have also appealed for an “Assignment-based” evaluation for the students appearing in their fourth semester.
