The HC had previously directed DU to declare the result of all OBE examinations by October 31. However, the court put this query to the DU administration after receiving an application that alleged a violation regarding the directive of the court.
Delhi University was represented by Advocate Mohinder Rupal in the court. He informed the court that the result of all PG and UG courses conducted through OBE has already been declared. This also included the LLB final year result, whose mark sheet will be available to students within 2 days.
The petitioner, represented by advocate HS Hora, had submitted an application alleging that DU had violated the court directive of October 12. At that time, the University had promised to follow the deadline for the result declaration of PG and UG courses.

At that time, the court had also directed the University to upload the mark sheet of all students on the website. The University was told that no student should be asked to visit the campus for the collection of his mark sheet.
The High Court has also previously asked the University to accelerate its process of evaluation for Open Book Examination (OBE) and eclare the result of the candidates by the first week of October.
Meanwhile, in another order, Delhi High Court ordered the DU to declare the results of students who were marked 0 or absent in the DU OBE 2020. This came in response to students who said that they were marked 0 or absent despite appearing for the exam.
The court directed the University to look into the matter and declare their result on or before December 20.
