COMEDK UGET 2015 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria of the admission as per the COMEDK norms and of the various programs in which they want to take admission. The eligibility criteria is different as per the course and candidate should carefully go through the eligibility criteria as the application may get rejected if the candidate is found ineligible at any stage and also the application fees is not refundable at any circumstance.

The course wise eligibility criteria is as under —

COMEDK UGET 2015 Eligibility criteria for MBBS and BDS courses:

The candidate should be passed in 10+2 or PUC or equivalent exam recognized under State or Central Government.

  • He / she must have studied compulsory science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
  • The candidate must be individually passed in all these subjects and must have scored a minimum of 50% marks taken together
  • For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes of Karnataka state the minimum score is 40%
  • The candidates appearing in the final year exams of the qualify exams who are expecting atleast minimum eligibility marks can also apply
  • The candidates must be 17 years of age on or before 31st December, 2015

COMEDK UGET 2015 Eligibility Criteria for B.E. course:

The candidate should be passed in 10+2 or PUC or equivalent exam recognized under State or Central Government.

  • He / she must have studied science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects
  • The candidate must be individually passed in all these subjects and must have scored a minimum of 45% marks taken together
  • The subjects Physics and Chemistry are compulsory alongwith chemistry or Bio — Technology/ Biology/ Computer Science or Electronics must be studied as optional subject

COMEDK UGET 2015 Criteria for candidate's Ineligibility:

  • Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination i.e. second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent prior to 2013
  • Candidates who have qualified COMEDK and allotted MBBS seat but failed to join the college or failed to surrender the allotted seat at the COMEDK level for valid reasons or have joined the college but dropped the course or failed to pursue the course
  • Candidates already pursuing Medical UG course anywhere in India.
  • Candidates who were caught attempting to impersonate or found following / adopting any of the malpractices earlier including entertaining the touts and agent
  • Diploma holder candidates are not eligible as there is no Lateral entry course
