FDDI Cancels AIST 2020; Check the Merit List Criteria for B.Des and M.Des


The Footwear Design & Development Institute has cancelled the FDDI AIST 2020 which was scheduled to be conducted on July 26, 2020. 

The FDDI has modified its admission process and now the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in class 12 for B.Des. The authorities cancelled FDDI AIST 2020, in the wake of increasing COVID-19 cases across the country.

As per the revised admission process, the candidates have to provide the information at applyadmission.net/fddi2020/, using their existing username and password from July 15, 2020, 5 p.m onwards and can submit the details till July 25, 2020.

FDDI Revised Admission Criteria for B.Des and M.Des

  • Candidates applying for B.Des will be awarded ranks on the basis of aggregate marks secured in class 12 or equivalent 3-year AICTE approved diploma. 
  • Candidates applying for the M.Des, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in graduation. If the result is awaited in that case, the result up to penultimate semester or year can be submitted.
  • If two or more candidates have the same aggregate marks then the elder candidate will be ranked higher in the merit list.
  • The merit list will be prepared on the basis of availability and the campus selected by the candidate.
