Tripura ITI Admission 2023 is conducted by the Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Tripura. The Tripura ITI Admission is done on the basis of a merit list. Candidates must have passed class 10 with Maths & Science, or class 8 to seek Tripura ITI Admission 2023. Tripura ITI 2023 registration forms will be available from June to July 2023.
Tripura ITI admission 2023 is based on merit. Class 8 students, class 10 students with general subjects or those who have studied Maths and Science are eligible for admission in different trades in Tripura. Depending on the eligibility criteria and type of trades, the merit list is released. Tripura established its first ITI in 1958 in Indiranagar and the number has now increased to 7 institutes. Since 2020, the institutes have started providing admissions through online mode. The selection in these ITIs is done through the means of merit and even candidates with a passing certificate of class 10 can apply for some of the courses.
The registration process for Tripura ITI admissions through DEEET will be conducted till July 2023. Tripura Diploma Engineering Entrance Exam (DEEET) 2023 results will be announced on the official website in August 2023, and the candidates can check the category-wise merit list at the official website @deeet.tripura.gov.in.

Tripura ITI Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria
There is a basic eligibility criterion that all candidates should meet and then there are also different criteria for different courses.
- Age: The minimum age limit is 14 years while the maximum upper limit is 25 years.
- Residency: The candidate must be a permanent resident of the state of Tripura and should be able to furnish a domicile certificate at the time of admission.
- Qualification: The candidate must have cleared at least 10th grade or 12th grade depending on the course taken. Given below are all the courses with their education requirement.

Tripura ITI Admission 2023: Application Form
Applicants who want to take admission for ITI courses in Tripura should first make sure that they meet the eligibility for the course they want to take before applying. After confirming, they need to follow the given steps.
- The candidates need to register themselves on the official website which is given above
- After registration, they need to log in using their credentials
- Now the applicant needs to fill up the application form. Carefully fill up all the details which are asked in the form and be sure to not make mistakes
- Candidates can also choose to apply for multiple courses should they meet the eligibility criteria
- Submit the form and save it as a draft or do a “Final submit” if you are sure your information is correct
- Here you’ll get the choice to select your institute. Fill up your preferences and click on accept and submit the application
- Make sure to print the form after the final submission
In case you make a mistake in your application form, you can edit it if you had only saved it as a draft. In case you had submitted it, you’ll have to fill out the Grievance Redressal Forum. This facility is only available before document verification takes place.
Documents Required for Tripura ITI Admission 2023
Before you go for counseling, you’ll need to get your documents verified at the nearest ITI document verification desk. The applicant needs to come to the verification center with all his original documents and the verification slip. After the verification is done successfully, the candidate will be notified. Only candidates who successfully clear the verification will be considered for the merit list. The candidate should bring the following documents to the verification center.

Tripura ITI Admission 2023: Counselling
- A candidate can check his merit by clicking on Merit and Allotment Status after logging in to his account on the official website.
- Applicants will find their seat allotment status on the same page. PWD candidates will have to check their status in the “News and Events section” of the website.
- Candidates who are allotted seats need to download their allotment letter and download the “Prescribed Format Required for Admission”.
- Finally, the applicant needs to walk into the ITI which he is allotted along with the allotment letter, the filled prescribed format, all original documents, and caution money as mentioned in the allotment letter.
Tripura ITI Admission 2023: Reservation
- The institutes provide reservations as per the norms of the state.
- SC, ST candidates get a reservation and so do the wards of ex-servicemen.
- 5% of seats are reserved for PWD candidates under the existing quota.
Tripura ITI Admission 2023: Merit List and Result
- Industrial Training Institute of Tripura will release the merit list for admission.
- Those candidates who will submit the application form and fee before the last date will be able to check the merit list through the official website.
- The merit list will consist of information like name, registration number, etc.
- Please note that the merit list will be prepared solely based on the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam.
- Candidates who will get shortlisted after the release of Tripura ITI Merit List 2023 will be called to take part in the counseling process.
