Assam Polytechnic Admission 2023: Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for admission to Polytechnic in the state of Assam for the desired candidates are as follows.

• The candidate must have passed class 10 or an equivalent examination in a single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects without any grace marks.
• The candidates must have scored a minimum score of 40 % for General category candidates, 35 % for Schedule Caste candidates, and 33 % for Scheduled Tribe candidates.
• The General category and OBC candidates must not be above the age of 23 years and 6 months as of December 31 of the year of admission.
• The Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category candidates must not be above the age of 23 years and 6 months as of December 31 of the year of admission.

The application for Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) is made available only in online mode on the official website of DTE, Assam. Candidates interested in pursuing a Polytechnic from Assam can fill in the application form for PAT.
