Pondicherry Polytechnic Admission 2023: Eligibility
To apply for the Polytechnic course candidates should check the following things:-
- Candidates should be Indians, however, French nationals of the Union Territory of Puducherry shall be considered Indians during the admission process.
- There are no age restrictions to apply for the Polytechnic course in Pondicherry.
- Candidates must have passed the 12th examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination any other equivalent examination with at least 45% marks. Candidates must have studied Physics, Mathematics as compulsory, and an optional subject of Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Computer Science in Class 12th.
- For admission to Part-time Diploma Courses, the candidate should have passed the S.S.L.C. examination or an examination equivalent thereto acceptable by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, Tamil Nadu with a minimum of 2 years’ full-time work experience in a registered firm in the relevant.
Pondicherry Polytechnic Admission 2023: Application Process
The application form will be available on the official website of the Centralized Admission Committee, Government of Puducherry. The entire process will be online. To register candidates must follow these steps: -
- Visit the official website
- Register by filling in personal details and create a password
- An OTP will be sent to the registered email id, you will be asked to verify it
- You will be asked to fill in your educational qualifications
- Once you hit submit, you will be asked to upload the necessary documents.
- Finally, you will be asked to make the payment.
- The payment can be via net banking or using a Demand Draft.

Pondicherry Polytechnic Admission 2023: Counseling Process
- Candidates shortlisted on the basis of merit will be able to participate in the counseling process.
- The web-based counseling will be done in one or two rounds depending on the availability of seats.
- Candidates will be able to participate in CENTAC 2023 counseling by logging in to the account created during registration.
- Candidates are advised to select a maximum number of choices to increase chances of admission.
- After this, a list of the students allotted will be released.
- Candidates satisfied with their seats will have to report to the allotted institute and those who want to opt another college will have to wait for the next round of counseling.
