Gujarat Polytechnic Admission 2023: Eligibility criteria
A candidate seeking admission for the Diploma course must have fulfilled the eligibility criteria given below-
- Candidates must have passed the Gujarat secondary Board examination of class 10th with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks.
- Candidates must have passed the 10th standard and should have completed a two-year certificate course in NCVT/GCVT/TEB/IGTR.
- Candidates should have passed 8th standard and a two-year valid certificate course of NCVT/GCVT and 10 standard exams from Gujarat board, or its equivalent.
- There is no separate entrance exam for admission. The merit list will be made on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
- The candidate should be of 15 years to apply for this course.

- The selection will be done on the basis of the marks obtained by the student in the 10th board marks, ITI and TEB.

- If the candidate is not satisfied with the college allocated then he/she needs to wait for the second round of allotment and second counseling round.
Gujarat Polytechnic Admission 2023: Reservation
- The admission is done on the basis of merit marks however preference is given to candidates belonging to the state of Gujarat.
- 75% of seats are reserved for candidates who have completed their education in Gujarat or have a domicile certificate of Gujarat state.
- Apart from that reservation is provided to the SC/ST/OBC/NT, PWD, handicapped and other candidates.
