Gujarat BTech Admission Process 2023

• Visit the official website of GUJCET 
• Click on the link that indicates ‘New Registration’ and select the course name as Degree Engineering
• Enter the GUJCET Roll Number, Application Number, Name of the Candidate, PIN (14-Digit PIN Printed on Information Booklet), and Serial Number Provided with the PIN and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• Next, fill up the required personal details, create a Login ID (Login ID should be GUJCET Roll Number), and create a six-digit alphanumeric password click on the ‘Confirm Password’ button.
• A preview of the filled application will be displayed for confirmation 
• Verify the details and click on the ‘I Accept’ button followed by ‘Submit’.
• Make sure to take the printout of the registration form.

Gujarat BTech Admission 2023: Verification of Documents

• For registration confirmation, all the candidates who registered for the counseling process under the TFW category, SC/ ST/ SEBC/ PH/ DS category must visit the nearest helpline center with a printout of the registration form and self-attested copies of the required documents. 
• The verification officer will issue a receipt to the candidates and retain the original documents.
• Make sure to collect the ‘Registration Slip’ from the helpline center.

Gujarat BTech Admission 2023: Merit List

On the official website, ACPC publishes a provisional merit number and the candidates can log in to check their rank. Candidates who are allocated with a merit number are eligible for choice filling and admission.

Gujarat BTech Admission 2023: Online Choice Filling

• In order to fill out the choices, the candidates must visit the official website.
• Enter the login details, and the choices as per candidates' eligibility will be displayed.
• Enter the chosen college and add preferences as per your requirements, there is no limit on the number of choices filled by the candidates.
• The candidate can interchange two choices as per the priorities with the ‘Swap Choice Function’.
• After filling in the choices, click on ‘Save and Exit’ and next click on ‘Lock Choices’ to confirm your choice entry.
• Candidates can modify choices within specified dates given by the authority.

Gujarat BTech Admission 2023: Tie-Breaking Norms

In the event, that two or more candidates score equal or similar merit marks, the percentage scored by candidates in the following exams is taken into account for tie-breaking. The tie-break rules are applicable in the respective sequence for the following exams :

• Physics and Mathematics subjects of Class 12th
• Chemistry and Mathematics subjects of Class 12th
• English
• Aggregate Marks in Class 12th

Gujarat BTech Admission 2023: Counselling

GUJCET score is compulsory for every candidate to participate in the BTech counseling procedure. It is conducted online by the Admission Committee for professional courses. The BTech counseling process of Gujarat comprises various stages. 

Obtaining Information Booklet and PIN: In order to participate in the Gujarat BTech counseling process, the candidate should visit the nearest branch of Kotak Mahindra Bank to purchase an Information booklet and PIN. The candidates have to pay INR 350 for the same at the bank.

Gujarat BTech Admission 2023: Seat Allotment

To give an idea of seat allotment to the candidates, ACPC releases the mock allotment.

Gujarat BTech Admission 2023: Mock Allotment

• The mock allotment is a trial procedure to have an awareness of the choice-filling procedure and seat allotment procedure. 
• It helps to know the availability of the institute or course as per merit. 
• The candidates can check the mock allotment on the official website. 
• Candidates can fill in the actual choices and change the existing choices for the final allotment.

Gujarat BTech Admission 2023: Final Allotment

• It is not guaranteed that the mock allotment results and final allotment results will be the same. Round 2 seat allotment results are released on the official website by ACPC.
• Candidates have to log in to check the seat allotment. The students with allotted seats who want to accept the seat with or without upgrade need to confirm their admission with a final fee payment. 
• Make sure to download the admission slip after the payment. 

Gujarat BTech Admission 2023: Admission Confirmation

• On obtaining a seat, the candidate should download the Information Letter and Bank Challan to deposit the tuition fees. 
• Visit the designated bank to deposit the tuition fee for the 1st Year of the BTech course. 
• Fees can also be paid online mode by using a credit card/ debit card or internet banking. 
• After fee payment, make sure to print out the admission slip.
• The candidates who get seats against their priority can decline the seat allotment and take part in the next round of the admission process.

• The candidates should visit the respective college with all the required documents once the admission is confirmed.

Gujarat BTech Admission 2023: Reservation

• The reservation policies of the state government for certain categories of students are applicable to Gujarat BTech admissions 2023. 
• Under the state quota, there are 50% of seats reserved for the general category and the rest of the seats are reserved for different categories that come under the reservation policies of the state government.
