Telangana BTech Admission Process 2023

Applicants need to follow the below procedure to seek admission in the B.Tech course in Telangana State.

• Candidates need to visit the official website and click 'Apply'.
• Register yourself on the admission portal by entering all the details as asked in the form.
• On further processing, the page will open where the candidate has to fill in all the relevant details like name, DOB, gender, mobile number, email I'd. Upon entering these details, an account will be created.
• After successful registration, the candidate needs to log in and complete the details.
• The candidate needs to upload the scanned photograph and signature as specified in the form.
• Candidates can pay fees via Online mode through debit card, net banking, or in offline mode through E-challan.
• After completing, the candidate needs to print the application form for future use.
• A total of 160 questions, each question carries 1 mark.
• The time duration will be 3 hours. The paper will be there in bilingual form.
• No negative marking.
• The syllabus for the entrance exam will be from Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

Telangana BTech Admission 2023: Counselling

Candidates qualifying TS EAMCET exam can participate in the counseling process. The counseling is conducted in several steps. After completing the process, the candidate is allotted college and stream. Below is the procedure that needs to be followed:

• Candidates first need to pay the counseling fees via Online mode. For the general category, the counseling fee is Rs.1200, and for SC/ST Rs.600.
• After the successful payment of fees, document verification will be carried on. Candidates will be receiving login Id and password for further updates and for uploading documents.
• Candidates need to report to the nearest allotted verification centers with the documents. Candidates need to carry the scorecard with them during every process.
• After verification of the documents, candidates will be issued an acknowledgment letter from the admission authorities.

Candidates need to carry on the further process by visiting the official site.

• Open the TS EAMCET Counselling site.
• Click on the candidate registration option
• Enter login I'd, EAMCET rank card, ticket number, and DOB.
• Click on the button to generate a password.
• You will receive a password on a mobile phone via SMS.
• Enter the password and process it to the next step.

After completing the above process, the candidate needs to choose the option entry.

• A list of colleges and courses will be displayed.
• Choose the colleges and Mark them as 1,2,3,4.
• After choosing your preference, click on confirm and log out from the portal.

Telangana BTech Admission 2023: Documents Required 

Candidates must carry with them the original and the photocopies of the below-given documents at the time of counseling:

• 10th and 12th Marksheet
• Category certificate if applicable
• Transfer Certificate
• Character Certificate
• Admit Card of the qualifying exam
• Scorecard of the qualifying entrance exam
• Recent Passport Size Coloured Photograph

Telangana BTech Admission 2023: Final Selection

The selection of candidates in their preferred college and stream is based on the normalized score and rank secured by the candidate in the qualifying exam. Candidates need to secure the maximum ranks to get their seats fixed in the top Institutes. Reserved categories will receive special weightage on the seats and in the admission process.
