J&K Polytechnic Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

  • The students who are willing to take admissions in the college must have qualified their 10 standard
  • The students who are willing to take admissions in the college must have at least 50% in the class 10 board, and the reserved students must have 40% in class 10 board.
  • To secure a seat in the college, you must fill the J&K polytechnic admissions and must also participate in the counseling process of J&K PET 2023.

J&K Polytechnic Admission Process 2023

  • Only those students can fill out the application form of J&K polytechnic admissions who are going to appear for the 10th board examination. That means students must have qualified standard ten or appear for the 10th board examination to become eligible to apply for the examination.
  • According to your marks on the 10th board, a merit list will be created and ranks will be allotted to the candidates and counseling will be done.
  • Based on your rank in the merit list, you will be allotted a college in various rounds of counseling. If you are allocated a college, you have to report the college site online to verify the documents through an online platform and confirm your seat.
  • In the subsequent round, you will get an option to upgrade your seat, and if your seat gets upgraded, then you again have to report to the college site online and confirm your seat.
  • After you are done with the counseling, you have to wait for the college to open and then continue your studies.

The merit list will be prepared based on your performance in the 10th board, and according to your performance state ranks will be allotted to the candidates and hence the result will be declared differently for this year. All the important documents including, the mark sheet and passing certificate of 10th board, Transfer and migration certificate from the last institution, photo, identity proof of both parents and students, state residence certificate, caste certificate if a candidate belongs to a reserved category, a printout of the seat allotment letter and application form.
