What is CA?

Chartered Accountancy or CA is a course that includes management of financial accounts, budgeting, auditing, business strategy and taxation.

  • You can become a chartered accountant after your XIIth or after completing your graduation or post-graduation. you just need to pass a series of tests. 

The whole CA course is divided into some levels-

  • CA foundation course in which candidates learn about basics of economy, finance etc.
  • The Intermediate level is a little bit tough, candidates need to qualify CA intermediate(previously known as IPCC or integrated professional competence course.) 
  • After completing the intermediate level candidates now go through practical training of 3 years, which is called Articleship and earn some stipend for that.
  • After training, candidates appear in the final exam. The final exam will consist of 8 papers. 
  • At last after completing all the levels and qualifying for the final exam, candidates will receive the CA certificate.
