New Delhi: MNLU, Aurangabad is all set to offer 2 new undergraduate and postgraduate courses, BBA and MBA.
Four years after its modest start in 2017-18, the Maharashtra National Law University, MNLU, Aurangabad has decided to expand its activities by offering two new courses, BBA - LLB (Hons), and MBA in law and course management for the academic year 2022-23.
Speaking about the launch of two new courses in the varsity, Ashok Wadje, MNLU registrar, said that the BBA - LLB would be a five-year integrated programme in law, for which the admissions would be conducted based on the scores obtained by the candidates in Common Law Admission Test, CLAT 2022, conducted by the consortium of National Law Universities.
Inspired by the recommendation of UGC and the Bar Council of India, the integrated programme, BBA-LLB (Hons) will promote interdisciplinary approach by integrating social sciences, law, and humanities.
The University has notified that the total intake of the students for the law programme will be 60, which will also include seats reserved under Maharashtra’s reservation policy.

As the university has already introduced the choice based credit based system (CBCS) for the undergraduate degree courses, the students enrolling for the five-year integrated BBA - LLB programme will have to earn a total of 250 credit points in their course duration.
Announcing that the MBA in law and course management will be a two-year novel course, Wadje said that the students who have completed their undergraduate or postgraduate degrees are eligible to apply for the MBA programme and candidates from law and management faculties will be highly preferred for the course.
However, all the candidates would have to sit for the entrance exam to get admitted to the MBA programme. Also, the university has not yet announced the total intake of the students for the MBA in law and course management programme.

Maharashtra National Law University, MNLU, Aurangabad was established under the MNLU Act 2014,in the Kanchanwadi area of the city. MNLU is a part of the Consortium of National Law Universities in India and is gaining immense popularity throughout the country.
