- Students who are in the top 1% of students in their Class 10+2 board exams and are pursuing a BSc or Integrated MSc in Natural and Basic Sciences.
- Candidates who are top 10,000 JEE or NEET rank holders and who have chosen to study Natural and Basic Sciences at any institute or university leading to BSc and MSc degrees.

Promotion of Science Education (POSE)
The purpose of the Promotion of Science Education (POSE) scholarship program is to encourage eligible and deserving applicants to continue science education at a higher level by providing financial help. It is offered by the Department of Science and Technology, Haryana.

Eligibility
Candidates wanting to receive a Promotion of Science Education (POSE) scholarship should meet the following criteria.

- Only Regular students are entitled to receive the scholarship.
- Students should avail themselves of only the Promotion of Science Education (POSE) scholarship. No other scholarship will be granted apart from the Promotion of Science Education (POSE)

- BSc candidates must have scored 85% in 10+2.
- MSc Candidates should have cleared BSc from a recognized university with at least 75%.
Dr. S K Vasal Scholarship
Dr. S K Vasal Scholarship is awarded by Punjab Agricultural University. One person with the highest OCPA in MSc is selected for the scholarship grant.
- Scholarship: a grant of INR 1,500 per month is awarded to the selected candidate.
- Eligibility: Only one candidate having Highest OCPA in MSc is selected.
