AIISH All India Entrance Examination Based Programmes

1. B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) / BASLP

Eligibility: candidate must have passed 12th /II PUC (PCM/B)

Duration – 4 Years

No. of Seats – 64

Stipend: Rs.800/- per month

Cost of Application Fee:

• 400/- for General and OBC Category
• 275/- for SC and ST category

Entrance Exam Date: 13th June 2015

Note:

• For Foreign students, there is no entrance examination and selection is based on merit in qualifying examination.
• The Entrance Examination scores are valid for admission to BASLP Programme to be offered by RIMS, Imphal and NSCBMC, Jabalpur. Further selection process at the above institutions would be as per their respective admission regulations.

2. M.Sc. (Audiology)

Eligibility:  Candidate must have done B.Sc. (Sp. & Hg.)/BASLP

Duration – 2 Years

No. of Seats: 36

 Stipend: Rs.1300/- per month

Eligibility:  Candidate should have done Ph.D. from a recognized University in the area of speech, language, and/or hearing.

AIISH Mysore Admission Application Form 2015:

Candidate can download the application form from AIISH website www.aiishmysore.in and hard copy submitted with application fees. OR

Candidates having no access to internet can send specific request to Director, AIISH by paying application fee as applicable plus Rs.50/- as Postage and Handling charges.

Online Submission of Application: As a green initiative, the institute has introduced the system of online submission of application for entrance examination to B.Sc. (Sp. and Hg.), M.Sc. (Audiology/Speech – Language Pathology) and Ph.D.

• Candidates may visit universities website www.aiishmysore.in for details regarding online submission.
• It ensures faster processing of their application besides immediate downloading of the admission tickets and all the candidates are encouraged to avail this facility.

However, on specific requests, in the rare event of student not having access to computer / internet connectivity, application in offline format shall be made available upon written request addressed to the Director, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Manasaganothri, Mysore-570006, mentioning the details of payment of the application fee.

They will be dispatched only after confirming receipt of the fees in AIISH Account / receipt of Demand Draft.

2. For M.Sc. (Audiology / Speech Language Pathology), PG Diplomas, M.S.Ed. (HI), Doctoral & Post Doctoral to Bank of Baroda Account No. 98320100002222 with NEFT / IFSC code BARB0EXTMYS (BARB Zero EXTMYS) at Bank of Baroda, Extension Counter, AIISH, Mysore.

Note:

• Payment prescribed for application fee can also be done by sending Demand Draft in favor of The Director, AIISH, Mysore payable at Mysore or through interbank transfer to the aforesaid Bank Account Number.
• Candidates need to keep record of UTR number for other than BOB branches and Transaction ID number for BOB branches as proof for having remitted the prescribed fee through NEFT and mention the same in the online application / request for offline application.

AIISH Mysore Admission 2015 Entrance Test Centers:

The entrance examination will be in English. The entrance examination for the B.Sc. (Sp. & Hg.) / BASLP programme will be held at the following cities:

• Mumbai
• Delhi
• Kolkata
• Chennai
• Guwahati
• Jabalpur

Note:

• Candidates applying for B.Sc. (Sp. & Hg.) / BASLP are required to indicate two examination centres of their choice as FIRST AND SECOND choice. However, in most instances, candidates will be allotted the centre of their first choice.
• The examination centre once allotted shall not be changed under any circumstances.
