Annamalai University MBBS Admission 2015

Annamalai University is a Public Residential University; it is recognized by UGC and accredited by NAAC. It offers courses in Science, Engineering, Arts, Medical and Agriculture. It also offers more than 500 courses in Distance Education.

It provides Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course in Medical stream of 5 ½ years Duration. The eligible candidates can apply for admission in MBBS Course for academic year 2015-2016 starting from May 10, 2015 to be submitted on or before June 12, 2015.

Annamalai University MBBS Eligibility:

The candidates who want to apply for admission in MBBS course must be:

• Passed in all subjects of the qualifying exam i.e. HSC conducted by Tamil Nadu State Board or any other equivalent Board with minimum 60% marks in any one group out of — a) Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology or b) Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other subject
• 55% marks for denotified Communities and most Backward classes
• 40% marks for SC/ ST/ SC-Arunthathiyar
• The candidate should be 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2015
• Candidate should be Native of Tamil Nadu, India

• By Post: the candidates need to send Demand Draft of INR 1500 drawn in favor of "The registrar, Annamalai University" with a self-addressed, stamped thick Kraft envelope with the name of Programme applying for
