New Delhi: Goa University is to begin the admission process from today for the Doctoral programme. The admission process is for the current academic year 2022 and will be applicable to the university and its affiliated institutions. Candidates are to apply by March 25, 2022.
Candidates can apply to the doctoral programmes available at Goa University along with its affiliated institutions. Additionally, they can also apply to the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) and the National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research in the state.

Goa University Doctoral Programme Admission 2022: Seat Distribution
Out of the seats available for the doctoral programmes at Goa University, 50 seats are vacant at the NIO and 22 seats are at Goa College of Engineering and 6 seats are at Goa College of Music.
Goa University Doctoral Programme Admission 2022: Eligibility
Interested candidates should take note of the following points to know about the required eligibility criteria:
- Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ UGC NET JRF/ SET/ SLET/ JEST/ ICAR-NET
- Candidates who have been awarded regular M.Phil degree
- Candidates who have qualified Goa University PhD Entrance Test (GU-PET) conducted in December 2020 and August 20221

Goa University Doctoral Programme Admission 2022: Application Process
Candidates are eligible to apply for a maximum of three doctoral programmes. Below listed are the steps to apply online:
Step 1- Visit the official website and fill up the form to register
Step 2- Fill up the form with required details
Step 3- Upload the documents after checking the list of required documents and submit
Step 4- Pay the application fees (INR 600 for General Category, INR 300 for SC/ST Category and NIL for person with disabilities)
Step 5- Download the filled application form and get a printed copy for future usage
